Elsa Hosk Found the Most Fashion-Girl Way to Wear a Shirt as a Dress

Elsa Hosk can make anything look cool, so copying her looks is never a bad idea. She obviously has incredible style and is an expert at creating interesting outfits that don't look exactly like everyone else's.

As you may have already seen via Jennifer Lopez, wearing an oversize button-down shirt as a dress has become a popular outfit trend this summer. (No pants, no problem in this case.) As Hosk expertly displays here while out in NYC, the key is to keep things very simple. There's no need to pile on accessories—just stick to a cool pair of heels and a fun bag and you're set. While the look certainly makes a statement, it's not complicated or fussy. It's trendy yet effortless. (Tip: Especially if you're on the tall side, wearing a little pair of shorts underneath and/or sizing up is never a bad idea.)

Scroll to see how Elsa Hosk wore her button-down as a dress in the most fashion-girl of ways and shop button-downs that will work equally as well (because her Prada one is unfortunately but not surprisingly sold out).
