As a fashion editor, I spend a healthy portion of my days on the hunt for the latest and greatest on offer across my favourite high-street and designer brands, and lately, I must admit I've been spoilt for choice. 2025 has really started on a cold note, but the latest high-street offerings have me truly excited for the dropping temperatures ahead. From chic coats to cosy knits and chunky boots, I'll always look for a good excuse to layer any day of the week so this is right up my alley.
So, with a love for all things winterwear, I've collated some of the very best new-in pieces across three of my favourite high street brands: Zara, COS and Arket. Each catering to a slightly different audience, and all with their own strengths, this new-season edit comprises classic winter items and trending yet timeless new-season buys.

1. ZARA
This boucle coat will keep you toasty all winter long.
A more dressed up version of a classic black button down.
Every winter wardrobe should start with brown pair of trousers.
This looks like it could be triple the price.
The bag colour of the season.
Stop! because this is just the right amount of colour that is needed to bring me out of my winter blues.

The whole outfit, it's a yes.
I think this is the perfect in between season buy.

Oversized coats look so chic on everybody.
I realised I don't have a single stripped button down in my wardrobe, so this ticks that box.
Relaxed jeans are showing no signs of going away anytime soon, and we are all the better for it.
