It's Official: These Are the Only 3 Winter Color Trends That Matter
It’s no secret that colors can affect our sartorial decisions on a scale even greater than the season’s biggest trends. Over the past few years, we’ve seen the wave of millennial pink, followed quickly by lavender, and in recent seasons the rise of lime green. Naturally, with the new season come new winter color trends to consider for your wardrobe.
With the vast number of color palettes currently on the rise, it can be difficult to know exactly which ones are worth buying into for the season. So we tapped Shopbop’s fashion director, Caroline Maguire, for her expertise on exactly which colors you need to pay attention to this winter.
“Winter is all about the juxtaposition and unique color combinations,” she tells us. “We’re seeing magenta, cornflower blue, and tomato red come across in a huge way—specifically when paired with neutral tones such as cognac or camel.” On that note, if you’re ready to add some brighter hues to your winter wardrobe, keep scrolling to shop our favorite pieces in each color below.
