As someone who went through a wannabe-skater phase in high school, I'm a big fan of wearing Vans. I still own multiple pairs, from platform to checkered. Even though I never actually got into skating (I have the scars to attest to my attempts), the comfortable sneakers never left my wardrobe. They're not only easy on the feet, but they're also versatile and just look incredibly cool. It seems like every celebrity in Hollywood happens to agree, as someone is constantly being spotted in the under-$100 sneakers.
