When it comes to luxury fragrances, there's only a handful of brands I go back to time and again. But if I want a perfume that's really going to turn heads, I always return to the French perfume brand loved by the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Naomi Campbell. If you're wondering which brand I'm talking about, it's none other than Dior.
Dior perfumes have been a favourite amongst celebrities and beauty editors for years now. Not only is the brand's packaging super chic, but the elevated scents will earn you plenty of compliments. My love affair with the brand started many years ago, when I was gifted my first bottle of Miss Dior (did you know it first launched all the way back in 1947?). Whilst this unmistakable floral scent feels somewhat nostalgic, it remains a classic in my collection, alongside other icons such as J'adore and Hypnotic Poison.
However, since Francis Kurkdjian (yes, the nose behind the iconic Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540) joined the brand as Perfume Creation Director in 2021, many of these classic scents have been reimagined, and honestly? They keep getting better.

This Dior perfume is an icon, and it's been reimagined for 2026. It still has that soft, floral quality that makes the scent universally appealing, but the new formulation taps into the rise of gourmand fragrances, with notes of vanilla, almond and tonka bean. Of course, Grasse rose remains at the heart of the scent, and the powdery aroma always feels like diving headfirst into a bed of soft pink petals. That said, this floral scent is smooth and creamy with woody undertones, making it feel decidedly modern yet still reminiscent of the fragrance that we all know and love.
2. J'adore
Key notes: Ylang-ylang, Damascus rose, jasmine grandiflorum, jasmine sambac
I've written constantly about my love for Dior J'adore. It's a scent that I never get sick of. A scent that earns me endless compliments. A scent that makes me feel comforted yet also the most elegant version of myself. A warm, heady, sensual blend of ylang-ylang, rose and jasmine; every time I spritz it, I feel as if I'm dripping with gold. I'm not sure how, but the luminous floral heart feels sparkly on the skin, like the olfactory equivalent of the finest champagne.
3. Ambre Nuit
Key notes: Amber, Turkish rose
Part of the La Collection Privée Christian Dior range, Ambre Nuit is the perfect autumn perfume. Deep, dark amber meets a rich, honey-like swirl of Turkish rose, creating an intoxicating aroma that wraps you up in a warm embrace and makes you never want to let go.
4. Lucky
Key notes: Lily-of-the-valley, white flowers
If you didn't know, all of the La Collection Privée Christian Dior perfumes are inspired by Christian Dior’s life, whether it's special places, moments or more. Lucky is an olfactory recreation of the lily-of-the-valley symbol sewn into the hems of Christian Dior's Haute Couture dresses, designed to bring good luck (hence the name). The scent starts subtle, but the fresh, floral aroma soon unfurls onto the skin, sweeping you up in its airy, sparkling fragrance and quite literally making you feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
5. Vanilla Diorama
Key notes: Vanilla, rum, patchouli, cocoa
This gourmand fragrance is inspired by Diorama Gourmand, one of Christian Dior's favourite desserts. The dish was created especially for the designer at Parisian restaurant Maxim's. Although I've never tried it myself, after smelling this perfume, I can only imagine how delicious it must be. Vanilla, rum and cocoa come together to create a fragrance that's almost good enough to eat.
6. Hypnotic Poison
Key notes: Jasmine sambac, vanilla, bitter almond, musk
Next up, an absolute icon in its own right. Hypnotic Poison is a charming scent, with bitter almond, vanilla and jasmine. It's smooth and intoxicating, with a musky base that lingers on the skin all day long. As the bottle suggests, it's a fragrance as mysterious and alluring as it looks.
7. Eden-Roc
Key notes: Sea salt, jasmine, coconut, pine tree
Last but by no means least, say hello to Eden-Roc. This perfume is a tribute to Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, one of the most luxurious and exclusive hotels in the entire world. It really is the perfect holiday fragrance, thanks to notes of creamy coconut and fresh sea salt.
