These "Revolutionary" New Nike Sneakers Sold Out in an Hour

It's Cyber Monday, so you know what that means: Everyone is trying to hide their online shopping carts from their bosses at work. The day isn't over yet, but we already know one item that was a hot commodity today: Nike's Air Vapormax Moc Sneakers ($200), which launched at 10 a.m. EST today, were sold out within the hour.

"An already-innovative design gets a revamp," the product description reads. "Multi-colored 'rainbow' yarns show of the elegance of Flyknit, while tinted full-length Air lends a luxe, onyx-like look. Leaving the laces behind, the Moc features a wide, lateral-side gore strap for total lock-down without the pressure of laces." Nike also called the iconic shoes "revolutionary," so it's easy to see why they flew off shelves today. We're crossing our fingers for a re-stock for anyone who missed the boat the first time.

Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
