Spotted: Kate Middleton and Bella Hadid Wearing the Same Under-$40 Accessory
It's not exactly uncommon for celebrities to match in terms of fashion items, with A-listers like Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber often wearing similar items. (For proof, see Jenner and Bieber both debuting leather bomber jackets in recent weeks.) Yet sometimes, a matching celebrity duo can still shock us. Case in point: the Duchess of Cambridge wearing almost identical leather gloves as Bella Hadid. An unexpected pairing? Yes. A true story? Also yes.
Earlier this week during an official visit to Wales for St. David's Day, Kate Middleton was seen accompanying Prince William in a stylish-as-ever green-and-black ensemble. Specifically, she wore a dark-green wool coat from Sportmax with a matching turtleneck, skinny jeans, and a pair of black leather gloves that, upon spotting them on Middleton, looked oddly familiar. That's because, on the exact same day and across the pond in Paris, Bella Hadid wore a very similar pair.
For Off-White's Paris Fashion Week after-party, the supermodel styled an elbow-length pair of leather gloves with a green-and-yellow plaid minidress. Even better, this isn't the first time that Hadid has taken a pair of leather gloves out for a spin. Earlier in the month, she posted a slideshow on Instagram that displayed a micro-trend–filled look, including sporty sunglasses, windbreaker pants, lug-sole boots, and, of course, leather gloves.
