Kaia Gerber Just Made Her Couture Debut in the Dreamiest Dress
Imagine being transported into a secret garden of sorts, complete with a bubbling fountain centerpiece and beautifully crafted trellises. You, too, would feel like you're in a fairy tale. Such was the case (and the theme) of the Chanel Spring 2018 Haute Couture show set in the Grand Palais in Paris on Tuesday. The collection presented? A range of dreamy fairy-tale-like dresses adorned with transparent flowers, sequins, tulle, and feathers. The finishing touch to every look? A veil crowned with beautiful floral embellishments.
The models looked stunning as they walked down the runway in the garden-themed show, but we couldn't help but notice one in particular—16-year-old Kaia Gerber. While Gerber isn't (technically) a newbie on the runways (she made her first catwalk appearance at New York Fashion Week last season), this Chanel show marked the reigning It model's couture debut.
For the special moment, Gerber donned the dreamiest light pink dress embellished with feathers and floral embroidery. A black veil decorated with a floral accent piece and see-through boots completed the model's couture look. Now, read on to see Gerber's full look (and her couture show debut).
