Get Ready—J.Lo Just Made This the Biggest Trend of Fall 2019

Leave it to Jennifer Lopez to turn a photo-call into a major fashion moment. Lopez (who has a chic new haircut, we might add) attended said photo-call last night in Beverly Hills for her new film Hustlers, where she posed along with co-stars Constance Wu, Cardi B, Lili Reinhart, and Keke Palmer. This wasn't even the premiere, but J.Lo wore a premiere-worthy look that pretty much catapulted a big fall trend into the biggest fall trend of 2019.

Lopez's trend of choice was wisely leather clothing. Leather is obviously a standard material for accessories, but this season, the fashion world is clamoring for leather-on-leather looks (both real and faux), after seeing it on the runways of Chanel, Bottega Veneta, Celine, and Gucci, to name a few. Lopez chose a burgundy Zimmerman dress and matching beret, which she paired with gold pumps (and some diamonds, of course). Given the J.Lo endorsement plus how many brands (like Ganni, Nanushka, and Jacquemus) have jumped on the trend this season, and how many editors are talking about it (including us), we'd put money on this being the fall trend that everyone will wear.
