This Blogger Makes a Cool Case for the Statement Sweater

If you're looking to bring your fall and winter wardrobe up a notch this year, a statement sweater will definitely do the trick. And this outfit from Mary Seng of the blog Happily Grey is the head-turning proof. By adding a bold, contrasted knit to her look, the stylish blogger was able to turn an otherwise standard uniform of the cold-weather season into a lively ensemble that we can get on board with. In this case, the bolder the sweater, the better.

Seng styled her fashion-forward Isabel Marant Étoile sweater with a classic Gucci bag, a pair of ripped jeans, white star-embellished sneakers, and an incredibly infectious smile. However, this piece can be worn a multitude of ways—casually with jeans as we see here or even with a pair of black culottes and suede mules for a stylish office ensemble.
