The 4 New Gucci Trends That Everyone Will Be Talking About This Spring
Sponsor Content Created With Gucci
If you name any recent trend, chances are it originated at Gucci, as ever since its current creative director, Alessandro Michele, took the helm, this brand has had a colossal impact on how we dress. From horsebit loafers to logo T-shirts, Gucci has spearheaded almost all of today's cult buys. So how does Michele want us to dress next?
Gucci's S/S 18 collection was as eccentric as ever, with flamboyant accessories, vibrant colours and OTT embellishment. Once again Michele created a maximalist's dream world. To discover the next Gucci items we'll all be coveting, keep scrolling to see the four trends that will dominate this spring.

If you're thinking that several pieces in the collection look like they have been lifted straight from Elton John's wardrobe, that's because they basically have. Alessandro Michele made a visit to Elton's '70s archive, which translated into heavily embellished bomber jackets, OTT colourful jewellery and crystal-adorned sunglasses. And the Gucci way is to wear all of the boldest pieces together at once.

One of the key trends for spring is colour, so this is the season to play with bold shades and punchy combinations. You'll never find simple monochrome outfits over at Gucci, but for spring it is brighter than ever. We are most taken by the candy floss pink cropped trousers.

If you're a fashion magpie, then you will be seriously into spring's hero heels, as at Gucci everything from Mary Janes to stilettos to loafers was decorated with rhinestones. The sensible height of the pumps means you can wear your dancing shoes all day long.

Gucci's logo T-shirt and belts have been huge success stories for the house, so you'll be pleased to hear that the logo trend is going nowhere for spring. This season we're eyeing up the white Gucci slogan sweatshirt and the graphic "Guccy" bag, which is inspired by '80s gaming culture.
Race you to the pink trousers…
