According to New York's Best Shopper, These $119 Zara Men's Jeans Are the Last Pair You'll Ever Buy
As a fashion editor, I'm typically immune to the constant barrage of product recommendations on Instagram. But there are a select few influencers whose shopping suggestions can persuade me to make a purchase. One such tastemaker whose shopping advice I swear by is Courtney Grow. This New York–based content creator catches my attention whether she's sharing her favorite new arrivals from Shopbop or highlighting rich-looking Amazon fashion finds. She's even managed to convince me that I need a pair of men's jeans.
Just last week, Grow shared an Instagram story of her and her sister in the Zara dressing room, both wearing men's jeans from Zara's collaboration with menswear designer Aaron Levine. While it's not uncommon for insiders to buy jackets and sweaters from the men's department, denim is a whole new conversation—at least for me. Despite my initial hesitation, seeing the jeans on Grow left me intrigued. Though, I wasn't fully sold yet. So like any good shopper, I DM'd her on Instagram, hoping for a little more context on why she loves them and what made her try on men's denim in the first place.
"For some reason, I've been extremely intrigued by Zara's men's sweaters this season," Grow tells me. "And when I went in to check out the Aaron Levine sweaters, I tried on the denim just on a whim because I thought the wash was so great." I agree with her. The pair has that perfect vintage-like medium-blue hue and a distressed, worn-in vibe that makes it seem like the jeans have many stories and experiences behind them. "I was wearing vintage Levi's when I walked in there, and the Aaron Levine denim was so good that I almost forgot to put my jeans back on," she continues. "And I was like, 'Oh, this is kind of interesting to try on men's denim,' and then I realized I wear men's denim every day. I'm like, all my vintage Levi's are unisex. They just have a great fit, a great wash, a great patina that feels authentically made, and I really like Aaron Levine as a person. So it was fun to be able to support him."
While Grow tried on the blue pair, these jeans also come in a dark wash, one of 2026's hottest denim color trends, and in dark charcoal, which you can never go wrong with in the winter. For sizing, since men's measurements differ, check Zara's size chart. For reference, Grow noted on her Stories that she wears a size 30.
And if you need more convincing, Grow shared that one of her followers wrote to her, saying, "A moment of appreciation for you because I just got my Aaron Levine x Zara jeans and I probably would have spent at least twice as much for jeans this good."
With that said, if you don't follow New York–based content creator Courtney Grow on Instagram, please do so right now—your bank account may not thank you, but your closet will. Then keep scrolling to shop the jeans for yourself.
