Zendaya Just Ditched Her Signature Red-Carpet Pumps for This Heel-less Shoe Trend
At first glance, Zendaya appears to be wearing her signature Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps to the New York City premiere of The Odyssey. From the front, the shoes' pointy toes and sleek silhouette look thoroughly familiar to fans of her red carpet fashion. She rarely wears any other style, after all. One turn to the side, however, reveals a completely different look altogether. Gone are the vertiginous heels—in their place, well, are no heels at all! A lot of people hyperbolically claim that Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach have fashion superpowers, and these gravity-defying shoes will do nothing to beat those allegations.
As for the rest of her look, Zendaya's dress and feathery wings were designed by Matières Fécales, an avant-garde brand based in Paris. (You needn't look further than the brand's name—which translates to fecal matter—to understand just how edgy it is.) Her jewelry is by Chopard. Scroll down to see Zendaya's NYC premiere look from every angle. Plus, see what Lupita Nyong'o, Anne Hathaway, and Charlize Theron wore tonight.
