Looking Like a Fashion Person RN Is as Easy as Wearing These Two Chanel-Approved Colors Together
Shop the cool color pairing that'll make your outfits look exponentially special.
There's much to discuss when a new Chanel collection debuts, ever since Matthieu Blazy took the helm. One of the most common topics of conversation is his use of color. Not to worry—there's plenty of Chanel's signature black and white throughout his collections, but coexisting with the aforementioned classic are bold, bright color pairings. Gracie Abrams just gave us an IRL representation of this, on the eve of the release of her new album, Daughter From Hell.
While out and about between promotional appearances in NYC, Abrams was photographed wearing an off-the-runway look from Chanel's Resort 2027 collection. It included a cream tank with contrast trim and the brand's iconic logo, and a grass green skirt that was also logo'd and contrast trimmed. Vibrant colors you'd find in nature are dictating many of the trends this summer, with grass green being one of them. And Abrams opted to pair it with a croc-embossed shoulder bag (also Chanel, of course) in another found-in-nature hue: azure. Yes, these shades may sound a bit specific, but once you see them, you'll realize how successful a pairing it is and that you'd be remiss to not try wearing these hues in adjacent color families together this season. I recommend following Abrams' lead and trying a grass green article of clothing with an azure accessory. Keep scrolling to shop a few special options.
