Not Wedges, Not Flip-Flops—Sienna Just Wore Jeans With a Shoe Trend I Genuinely Never Expected to See Her In
Not into heeled flip-flops? Fashion people are wearing jeans with this other heel trend right now.
In retrospect, it was naïve of me to think I had Sienna Miller's style figured out—I've not once deemed her styling "predictable", after all. Still, after years of watching her gravitate towards boho wedges and strappy sandals, I was genuinely shocked to see that actor step away from her time-tested favourites in favour of a pretty shoe that subverts her go-tos.
Eschewing both her bohemian staples and even this season's trending heeled flip-flops, Sienna instead stepped out this week wearing the prettiest pair of Givenchy Boudoir Heels (£1050). Crafted in a mule silhouette and finished in a fresh cream hue, the shoes are distinguished by an oversized bow that sits atop the open-toe design.
While bow heels aren't dominating the conversation right now, I have a feeling that could soon change. In fact, I spotted Alexa Chung wearing a similar pair just a few weeks ago, suggesting the elegant shoe trend may already be gathering momentum.
Wearing hers to dress up her denim for a night at the theatre, Sienna's bow heels brought a touch of glamour to her jeans outfit, without making her look feel especially formal. Although the style is often reserved for party season, it feels fresh to see them worked into an everyday outfit.
If there's one thing I've learned for certain about Sienna's wardrobe, it's that she can spot a trend before everyone else catches on, and whilst she may be one of the first to embrace bow heels this season, I doubt she'll be the last. If her latest look has inspired you as much as it has me, keep scrolling to shop my edit of the best bow heels to wear with jeans right now.
