Twenty-nineteen hasn’t even arrived yet, but already I’m mapping out what my fashion buys are going to look like in the New Year. Whether inspired by a fresh new brand—like Rotate or Rowen Rose—that has made it onto my radar, some holes in my wardrobe that need to be filled, or even pieces that I’ve already preordered, these are the first things that will be arriving in my closet come 2019. I particularly have my sights set on functional pieces that will take me from the office to dinner parties and everywhere in between.
So, what are the first pieces making their way into my wardrobe come 2019? Ahead, I’m breaking each of the items I already have my sights set on. Here, get a look at the items in my current shopping cart and order each of them for yourself.
Rowen Rose is one new brand that’s hitting the top of my wish list right now. The just-launched brand’s pieces won’t be available until 2019, which is why they haven’t hit my shopping cart just yet. Until then, I have my eye on some of the cool jewelry I’ve spotted the designer wearing on Instagram.
Another brand I’m loving at the moment? Rotate. I especially love this turquoise metallic midi dress from the cool Copenhagen-based brand.
The film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood isn't even out yet, but seeing shots from the on-camera looks has made me nostalgic for the fashion stylings of Sharon Tate. Cue the '60s miniskirts.
I already own LPA’s feather corset top in the photo above and love it so much that I preordered the dress version, which couldn’t be more ’90s Kate Moss. Since it won’t arrive until January, I consider it a 2019 purchase.
Chanel sneakers have been on my shopping list for upward of a year, but I think 2019 is when I’ll actually splurge on a pair.
These Manolos have been patiently waiting at the top of my wish list, and I’m determined to order them before they sell out.
Entireworld is another brand that has been capturing my attention, and its perfect tees will be in my closet soon.
