I've Been a Fashion Editor for 10 Years—Here's Everything I Think Is Worth Buying This Fall
I do a lot of shopping. Fortunately, I'm pretty good at editing things down too.
If you ask my mom—who's watched me since I was a little girl in her stroller sorting through items on a rack at GapKids—she'll tell you her youngest child has always loved to shop. I love it so much, in fact, that I made a career out of it. For the last decade, I've shopped for a living, hand-selecting the very best of what's available and sharing it with all of you, and my favorite time to do this passion of mine is in the fall, when brands release their most elite creations, from jackets to shoes. Autumn is my holiday season, and as such, I've spent the last few weeks scoping out the latest arrivals and picking out the most worthy buys.
Below is a curation of 35 items I'm backing for fall, from Gucci's new It bag to the simple sandals I plan to wear to every event in 2027 (with sheer tights in the colder months and bare skin once it warms up again). Also included is the statement pinky ring I can't stop thinking about, the jeans I keep getting asked about, and the boots I can confidently say are the most gorgeous pair I've ever seen—and I've tried on a lot of boots in my 30 years of life. Think of this list as a digital alternative to walking into a really cool boutique that only stocks winners, no duds. In this case, you don't have to find street parking or scrounge up enough quarters to pay the meter. It's all just a simple click away.
A Fashion Editor's Fall Shopping List
I think about these every single day. The green is gorgeous as well.
