I'm Completely Obsessed With This Pretty Dôen Dress, and I'm Not Alone

As you can probably tell, we’re huge fans of a good dress here at Who What Wear. Sure, a layered look made up of separate pieces can look really elevated if you get it right, and we’ll never complain about a perfect jeans and t-shirt outfit. But nothing compares to the ease of throwing on your favourite dress in the morning and feeling your best all day. A great dress is a versatile one, and, in case you missed it, team Who What Wear UK recently tried on and tested out some of this season's most in-demand styles to see if they could be worn in multiple ways, dressed up and down for different occasions.

One dress stood out among the crowd, and I knew the second I slipped it on that I needed it in my wardrobe. It was the Dôen Meribel dress, a ridiculously pretty (I think you’ll agree) red, floral print midi dress made from 100% cotton—so it’s light and breezy and really, really comfy. It looked cute with some simple leather sandals and a basket bag for summer days when I need to run around the city, or even for beach holidays. But it also felt dressy paired with heels and a clutch—so much so that I’m planning on wearing it to a number of weddings I have this year (yes, I’m a proud outfit repeater, especially when the dress is this good).

I’m not the only one who’s fallen head over heels for the California brand's latest ‘It’ dress—Who What Wear UK’s editor in chief, Hannah Almassi (a dress expert if ever there were one), ordered the style too. And in the past few days I’ve spotted some of the best-dressed influencers I know showing it off on the ‘Gram as well. Below, you can see how we’re all styling it up slightly differently, and you can shop the style now while it’s still in stock. I’m only warning you as last year, by the time summer came around, Dôen dresses were as hard to get hold of as a Taylor Swift concert ticket (IYKYK).

I know this dress will work incredibly hard for me this summer and for many years to come, so I feel confident that it’s a wise investment. So much so that I’m already eyeing up the other Dôen styles below as well. How many dresses is too many dresses? Asking for a friend.
