When Beauty Pie says it's launching a new LED mask, you best believe that every beauty editor in the country is waiting with bated breath for the product to be released. The last Beauty Pie LED mask launched late last year, and it sold out within hours. If you're familiar with the brand (and already have a Beauty Pie membership), then you'll know that they offer cutting-edge formulations at a fraction of the price, and their beauty tools are no exception.

The first LED mask blew us away with its impressive technology and affordable price point, but the latest launch from the brand is, without a doubt, its most advanced innovation yet. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a sample just before it launched, and I've been testing it out and speaking to the brand all about what makes this particular LED mask a cut above the rest. Keen to know more? Keep on scrolling for my full review, and prepare for a sellout launch. You have been warned.

Beauty Pie The Dynamo Deep LED™ Collagen-Boosting LED Mask Review

What Does the Beauty Pie Dynamo Deep LED™ Mask Do?

I know that there are lots of LED masks on the market, so I thought it would be helpful to explain how this particular model can benefit your skin. Harnessing triple-wavelength technology, the mask claims to deliver a smoother, firmer and brighter-looking complexion in as little as just one week. Below, I've detailed exactly how it does this (although you can read a more in-depth guide on what LED light therapy is here), and how to incorporate the mask into your skincare routine for the best results.

Beauty Pie The Dynamo Deep LED™ Mask Features

The LED light: As mentioned, this mask is particularly impressive thanks to the triple-wave technology. Not only does it feature red and near-infrared light, but it also harnesses the power of deep-infrared light. In fact, it actually features 1070nm (nanometers) of deep-infrared light, which, according to the brand, is clinically proven to be the deepest penetrating wavelength used in at-home LED devices. Working to stimulate collagen, plump the skin, boost circulation and reduce redness, think of it as a salon-worthy facial in one simple tool.

The treatment settings: The device has one treatment setting that lasts for a total of ten minutes. For best results, the brand recommends using it 3-5 days a week, for a minimum of 6 weeks.

The mask: While some LED masks can feel particularly bulky, Beauty Pie has created a flexible, lightweight design that comes with two separate face straps and a velcro fastening at the base of the mask so you can adjust it to fit your facial contours. Plus, it comes with removable goggles to protect your eyes.

My Experience

I have to say, I am so impressed with this LED mask. I have tried plenty of models over the years, and it really feels like so much thought and innovation has gone into creating this new launch. When I first opened the box, I was taken aback by how luxe everything felt. The mask itself comes in a gorgeous baby pink hue, and inside the box you will also find a satin pink bag for travelling, head straps, goggles, a charger and a remote for turning the mask on and off.

I definitely recommend reading the instructions before giving this a go, but even without the manual, the mask itself feels very intuitive and easy to use. I like the fact that there is only one treatment setting, as it keeps things simple, and the ten-minute treatment time feels easy to slot into my evening routine.

While I've never found an LED mask that perfectly fits my facial features, this one felt comfortable to wear thanks to the adjustable straps and flexible silicone material. You do have to carry the remote with you if you are on the go, so I prefer to lie down and enjoy the relaxing benefits of the treatment, but it's good to know that I can get up and move around if I really want.

While I haven't been using the product long enough to comment on whether it makes a noticeable difference to the skin, after using it for just a short amount of time, I already feel like my skincare products are going on a lot smoother. I can't wait to report back after using this for a few more months.

How Does It Differ From the Other Beauty Pie LED Mask?

I know what you're thinking: how does this mask differ from Beauty Pie's other LED mask? It's all in the tech. While the brand's original mask is a great product for anyone new to the world of LED, if you are looking for something a little more advanced, this is the mask to go for.

The original mask combines both red light (630nm) and near-infrared light (830nm), while this newer model harnesses the power of red, near-infrared and deep-infrared light, penetrating deep into the skin for greater results.

While the original mask retails at £120 for Beauty Pie members, this new mask retails for £199. In my opinion, this is an incredible price for the technology on offer. These days, LED masks are retailing for £400+, so I do not doubt that this affordable option will sell out in no time.
