Invited to a Beach Wedding? Here's What to Wear
Invitations that read "beach wedding" are undoubtedly one of our favorite kinds to receive because let’s be honest, it usually means one thing: We get to go on vacation at the same time. But a beach wedding does bring with it a little sartorial planning. The beach may be a casual setting, but you still want to make sure you’re tastefully dressed for the occasion. Avoid rubber flip-flops, T-shirts, tank tops, or swimsuits under dresses. You don't want to look like it’s just another day at the beach.
On the other hand, you don't want to look too formal or stuffy, so leave your stilettos and formal dresses at home. Since you’ll likely be walking in sand, opt for a pair of dressy wedges or flat sandals instead. And wear a dress that’s cool, comfortable, and tropical. Lighter colors and fabrics are the way to go, and you can never go wrong with a pretty floral print dress. Midi and maxi lengths are a great option as ocean breezes can often kick up short, flirty skirts.
So without further ado, scroll below for wedding guest outfit ideas to wear on that special day of sun, sea, sand, and I dos!
