Gigi Hadid Wore Uggs With Bike Shorts and There's Nothing Controversial About It

Gigi Hadid wearing Uggs is nothing new, and neither is Gigi Hadid wearing bike shorts. So we shouldn't be surprised in the least that she's combining the two, as she did today in NYC. Hadid wore a look that was right in step with her signature athleisure style, consisting of an oversize sweatshirt, bike shorts, the aforementioned Uggs, and some well-curated accessories. (A shell necklace was involved.)

Speaking of Uggs, Hadid didn't wear the short suede boots that come to mind when we all think of Uggs. Since it's mid-June, she opted for a slightly less cozy style, which happens to be the best seller on Ugg's e-comm site right now: the Fluff Yeah Slides. The platform slides are made of shearling and feature an open toe and an ankle strap to secure the foot, and come in a variety of statement-making colors. Gigi went with neon yellow. And since it's 2019 and bike shorts, neon, and "ugly" shoes are mainstream, what was once a controversial combination is now anything but. Coincidentally (or not), Bella Hadid wore a similar pair of Uggs today: the Fuzz Yeah Slides in pink. Customer reviews for both styles are excellent, and they're both $100, so what are you waiting for?
