It's Official: These Jeans Are Everywhere, Including on Selena Gomez

We all know the feeling of finding an amazing pair of vintage jeans: They look so good, they fit so well, and no other current pair compares. That’s more or less the backstory of the truly unique denim line Miaou, which we’ve been seeing everywhere lately—specifically on Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and, today, Selena Gomez. In other words, commit this brand name to memory. We certainly have.

Miaou was sparked by a pair of vintage jeans that designer Alexia Elkaim found in Paris, according to the brand’s site. She turned her inspiration into a denim collection that stands out for its signature grommets on the waistline and variety of belts that accent the designs. In fact, every pair offers a number of belt options to choose from, including rope, chain, velvet, and silk varieties.

For her recent look, Gomez selected Miaou’s Tommy Jeans, which Bella Hadid wore earlier this year. The style is a pinstriped denim that the singer paired with a hanging chain at the waistline for a slightly punk vibe. She balanced the edge with a mustard turtleneck, black loafers, and a structured handbag.

But while it’s celebs like Gomez and the Hadids who help to put Miaou on the map among countless denim competitors, it’s really the brand that’s set itself apart with its indistinguishable look. In fact, after spotting that grommet waistline so many times on some of our favorite style stars, we can’t help but recognize a pair in a heartbeat.
