Not only did she wear a prep-inspired top to hit up NYC’s Up & Down, but the songstress and fashion designer also styled her sweater with yet another pair of classic wide-leg trousers. Her cable-knit pullover is quintessentially sensible and fall-ready while the pinstriped silk pants lent her outfit a gorgeous contrast of textures. Of course, no Rihanna ensemble would be complete without a little drama, which came courtesy of a chunky chain-link choker. Forget that she’s wearing all white post–Labor Day; her refreshing take on going-out wear is a statement in itself.
