9 Affordable Shoes Our Editors Bought for Holiday Parties

Sponsor Content Created With Jessica Simpson

We've been thoughtfully planning our holiday outfits for weeks, right down to the perfect party shoes. Now that it's quite literally time to kick up our heels, we figured we'd spill which ones we'll be wearing this year. Since some of us are guilty of having already spent too much on our party apparel, we've been on the hunt for under-$150 shoes. We struck gold with Jessica Simpson's festive selection of heels (and flats!) for every type of event. So consider these nine pairs of shoes your official reminder to RSVP yes to every invite.

"I'm pretty sure statement booties are a must for every fashion girl's wardrobe (especially during the holidays). This black pair is neutral enough to go with almost everything in my closet but also makes any outfit look totally badass."

"I'm always looking for that little extra oomph when picking out my NYE outfit, and these lime-green babies give me just that. I'll definitely be keeping the rest of my outfit simple to make sure they're the main attraction."

"Not every holiday event I go to is super dressy, so I like to make sure I have casual (but elevated) shoes to choose from. These studded sandals are perfect for the sunny Los Angeles winter (weather forecast for this week: 70°) and are perfect for my friend group's annual end-of-the-year drinks by the beach."

"I usually shy away from pumps like this because my feet inevitably start to hurt, but the chunky heel completely changes that. Did I mention the heels are also bedazzled? They’re a true example of business in the front, party in the back, which makes them the perfect pair to go from work to drinks in."

"Everyone has that one staple shoe style they turn to when they have an event, and this is mine this holiday season. Who can resist a stiletto with a crisscross strap? This pair gives off the 'I'm classy but fun but have my shit together' vibe, which works out well since I don't always feel those things."

"Can you really get through the holiday season without a pair of sparkly heels? I don't think so. These champagne-colored sandals are neutral enough to pair with, well, anything, and add a festive flair without going overboard."

I'm waiting for the day that I tire of leopard print, but honestly, I don't see it anywhere in sight. Until then, you'll find me wearing these with every LBD in my closet.

For all casual holiday events, like scouting out the best Fifth Avenue decorations with my friends or my team's end-of-year lunch, I'm opting for flats over heels. This strappy pair feels way more interesting than classic ballerina slippers, plus I can't complain about another pair of animal-print shoes.

I love the '70s vibe of these platform heels, and the subtle shine throughout the fabric screams New Year's Eve. I can't wait to wear these for a night on the town ringing in 2020.
