Everything You Need to Know About New York Fashion Week

Are you ready for another New York Fashion Week? We've already brought you comprehensive coverage of Copenhagen Fashion Week, but now it's time to set our sights on the Big Apple. This season's shows run from Friday, September 6, through Wednesday, September 11, and feature all the heavy-hitters you know and love, including Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, Carolina Herrera, Rosie Assoulin, and more. If you're not attending, you can live-stream over 60 shows for free with NYFW: All Access—sans the crowds and long lines.
This will mark the first season under the helm of newly appointed CFDA Chairman Tom Ford, who took over the vaulted position from Diane von Furstenberg. Plus, Rodarte is missing from the schedule and Tommy Hilfiger is back on it after decamping to Paris last season. Below, we've highlighted some of the most anticipated shows of New York Fashion Week and exactly when to expect the Instagrams to start pouring in. (All times in ET.)

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern in 2011—back when the site only published a single story per day. (We have since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC and lives in Los Angeles. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2015, where she is now the Associate Director of Fashion News. From the Oscars to the Met Gala, she leads the site's entire red carpet coverage strategy. She specializes in celebrity and fashion news but also enjoys writing travel features and runway reports. She frequently contributes to WWW's social accounts and has a sizable following on her personal TikTok.
