This Once-Dated Jacket Trend Is Finally Back—24 I'm Obsessing Over Now
I'm going to cut right to the chase: Biker jackets are back. If you're reading this wondering when they even left, I hear you. Leather motorcycle jackets are, in some ways, a wardrobe staple, but in terms of them feeling necessarily current, that ship sailed quite a few years ago. Well, thanks to the ever-circulating trend cycle, they are officially the jacket trend to be seen in this spring. This resurrection is due largely in part to Prada's S/S 22 collection that featured the one leather jacket that convinced the world this once-dated jacket is finally back.
Prada wasn't the only one to make a strong case for the biker jacket, as brands like Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Simon Rocha, and more sent out the trend as well. Below, you'll see a curation of my favorite runway looks featuring these jackets, and of course, I shopped out the best biker jackets on the market at all price points so you don't have to.
If you're smart, you'll get on the waiting list for this one this very second.
This jacket is my new obsession.
If you're going to invest in a leather jacket, it might as well be Gucci.
You can't have a story about leather jackets without including ACNE Studios.
