Wait—the Olsen Twins Wore These Current Trends in Their Childhood Movies
I'm sorry, but can you even call yourself a true Olsen twin style devotee if you can't rattle off their most iconic childhood movies? Despite being known for the restrained minimalism and dramatic black silhouettes they wear constantly today, they were acing their outfits as tweens back in the late '90s and early '00s. In fact, the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movies that are the most nostalgic to me are the ones where the twins low-key nailed 2018's summer trends.
There's a strong whiff of nostalgia in the air these days, and I'm positive it's due in part to all the iconic TV shows and movies that aired when we were kids. From the moment I saw the Olsen twins make their onscreen debut, I knew they'd be my forever muses. If you want to take a trip down memory lane with me or are just curious to see which summer trends were popular then and are again now, look no further.
