Kitty Spencer Wore This Meghan Markle–Approved Trend on the Red Carpet

Earlier this week, Meghan Markle completed a milestone by making her first solo appearance on behalf of the royal family. For the occasion, she wore a pretty Givenchy dress that was the chicest interpretation of the sheer sleeves trend we've seen in a while. As it turns out, Princess Diana's niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, was on the same page with the trend this week.

Attending the London premiere of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's movie, A Star Is Born, Spencer wore a romantic black gown with billowy sheer sleeves that reminded us of Markle's outfit earlier this week. She finished the look with a Bulgari bag and jewelry, resulting in a downright dreamy red carpet look. Scroll down to see how Spencer and Markle interpret the sheer-sleeve trend and shop the look for yourself.

She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
