Kate Middleton Just Wore the High-Street Brand Parisians Are Obsessed With
While plenty of us in the fashion industry have been wearing a variety of high-waisted, straight-leg and cropped-flares, we always keep a pair of our favourite skinny jeans in our wardrobes. It's not that we don't love the silhouette; it's that for a few seasons now other styles have caught our attention. Personally, I have a pair of Topshop's Joni jeans stashed away for when I want to wear them again.
But if you've always been staunchly loyal to your skinnies, or just want a break from wearing more wide-leg styles, then I have some good news: Skinny jeans are back in a big way for 2020. Whether they're in split-hem form or just the classic drainpipe versions, they are being worn by influencers and even royalty, as proven by the Duchess of Cambridge today.
During a visit to LEYF Stockwell Gardens Nursery & Pre-School, K-Mids wore a pair of classic black skinny jeans, a cream jumper, a teal wool coat and boots from Russell & Bromley. But the piece that we loved the most? The pretty high-neck knit from French brand Sézane, which we have on good authority that Parisians absolutely love. The whole look was classic DOC, so keep scrolling to see the full ensemble and then shop the jumper, our favourite skinny jeans and the rest of her outfit.
