The Duchess of Cambridge made her first public appearance since announcing her third pregnancy in early September. Attending an event at Buckingham Palace for World Mental Health Day, Kate turned to one of her favourite British labels Temperley London and wore a beautiful blue lace dress with black ribbon at the ruffled collar and cuffs and a pleated skirt. She paired her dress, which is £795 and still in stock on Net-a-Porter, with a pair of classic black heels and a black clutch bag.
Recently, Kate has been making more fashion-forward choices wearing unexpected London Fashion Week, designers such as Simone Rocha and Barbara Cassola, and experimenting with new silhouettes. And this is another choice that will please the fashion crowd.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum, an extreme morning sickness, and so hasn't been attending public events during her pregnancy. Last night's event is especially close to the family's heart, as Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Harry are the forces behind the UK-based mental health initiative Heads Together.
