Kate Bosworth Found the Prettiest "Ugly" Sandals to Wear With Jeans and a Tee

Rejoice: Sandal season has arrived! Here on the West Coast, we're finally enjoying some truly summery weather after a long cold snap, and that means breaking out our sandals to celebrate the occasion. We're not the only one who have been anticipating sandal weather for months now—it seems like Kate Bosworth is also feeling the excitement. Yesterday, the actress showed off a pair of Miu Miu sandals that hit on one of spring's biggest shoe trend: sporty sandals.

I put the word "ugly" in quotations, though, because the rugged-soled style is certainly an unexpected trend, but it's also wildly popular. Bosworth's slides are trendy no doubt, but we think they're the prettiest version we've ever laid eyes on. Embellished with crystals and finished in luxurious velvet, they're hardly made for any activity more rigorous than a stroll down Melrose Place. TBH, we can't think of a better pair of sandals to make a classic jeans-and–T-shirt outfit stand out. Scroll down to see how Bosworth wore her fancy slides and then shop similar sandals.
