Jessica Biel Wore Controversial Ankle Boots With Black Skinny Jeans

A piece of advice: If you're ever in need of celebrity skinny-jean outfit inspiration, look no further than Jessica Biel. Denim trends may come and go, but for the most part, Biel sticks to the classic style. And, as one does, she typically wears them with ankle boots of all different shapes and styles.

While out in rainy Los Angeles this week, Biel went for a pair of ankle boots that made us zoom in for a closer look, as they were the It boots of 2013: Isabel Marant Caleen Studded Boots. We recall them being sold out everywhere and on the feet of many celebs and bloggers. It's not often we see a pair of It boots from years ago on a celebrity, but with the boots' subtle Western theme, which is a major trend this season, we can certainly see why she's reviving them. To add to the controversy, the boots feature a hidden wedge, a characteristic that was the norm several years ago, but it's not a style we see much of these days. But in case you're seeking a little low-key height, Isabel Marant still sells hidden wedge boots, and they still look great with skinny jeans.

Keep scrolling to see what we're talking about and to shop Jessica Biel's skinny-jeans-and-ankle-boot combo, which she paired with an on-trend fleece and an ornate Gucci bag.
