Can't Afford Yeezys? That's Okay—You Can Rent Them Instead

Last weekend, sneaker fans clamored over the newly released Adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 350 V2s. But given how fast Kanye West’s shoes sell out, and the likelihood that you aren’t in the market for a marked-up resale pair, you may have missed out on nabbing some to call your own. Enter LSwop (short for “luxury swap”), a subscription-based fashion rental service that launched earlier this month but didn’t garner nearly as much attention as it did last week, when the latest Yeezy sneakers hit the site. That’s right—the invitation-only site can make your dreams of having a pair of Yeezys a reality—at least for a few days.

Of course, as with any great blessing, there’s a catch—you have to be accepted into the sneaker club to gain access to the latest and greatest athletic footwear. It’s totally worth it, though, because the folks at LSwop carry designers like Tom Ford, Christian Louboutin, Rick Owens, and Saint Laurent, to name a few, where a pair can run up to $1500. Subscribers can rent shoes from one to four days depending on their membership: $150 allows customers to rent one pair per month; $250 gets them two, and $350 serves up four.

Check out LSwop’s site for more info and keep scrolling to shop some of our favorite sneakers (to have forever).
