With very few exceptions, I exclusively wear gold jewelry. And perhaps that explains why every time I see a tiny fleck of gold pass across my Instagram screen, my fingers instantly zoom in a little closer. Some may call it an obsession, and I'm perfectly fine with that. It's what lead me to a pretty chock-full collections page (I named it "Golden" ICYWW) of cool brands—high and low, new and established—with stunning and unique pieces of gold jewelry.
Although it's hard to narrow down, below are the 16 pieces that I can't stop thinking about. They're both interesting takes on classics like signet rings and golden hoop earrings (another personal favorite) as well as some really special shapes and silhouettes that you simply don't see every day.
If you, like me, are all about gold, keep scrolling.
Who can resist a very fancy seashell?
I imagine this is what it's like wearing a piece of art.
These are the smaller version of the ones on Instagram (which are sold out), but they pack as much of a punch.
during the same month where i had spent so much time crying and trying to figure out what’s best for my hair health, my confidence, and my career in an industry based upon your looks @allure asked me and 6 other black models to help redefine “good hair” and speak up about the beauty and diversity of black hair. thank you for bringing together black models, black hair stylists, and a black photographer, to make this moment so special and to highlight black beauty and hair diversity on such a large platform. i think something all black models share is the horror stories about bad things happening to us on set because people don’t know how to work with our hair, skin, etc. and now all 6 of us share such a positive experience. so important and so grateful to be included in this. photo by @quillemons, hair by @setomccoy, make up by @delinamedhin ????????

WKNDLA has been a favorite for a while, and it's because the unique shapes never seem to lose their wow factor.
Why, yes, two coins are better than one.
There are so many adorable versions of this signet ring, but we applaud Leandra Medine's choice of flying pig.
So simple. So perfect.
You can really appreciate all the details of this rose close up.
I love this necklace almost as much as I love its pricepoint.

I've become obsessed with UK brand Theodora Warre for all its gold designs. Consider this Exhibit A.
I'm not the biggest choker fan, but this dainty, sparkly style is the exception.
I'm really delighted that this necklace is called "coffee beans."
While the rose signet is sold out, I actually love this style even more.

The deep-V neckline paired with a powerful pendant is pretty major.
I like a bangle that's shiny and unfussy. Done and done.
