Gigi Hadid Turned a Swimsuit and Low-Rise Pants Into Summer's Coolest Outfit

Not sure if you've noticed, but lots of the recent celebrity low-rise pants and jeans outfits also include a crop top. I don't know about you, but there aren't many occasions in which I'd feel comfortable wearing low-rise pants with a crop top, as it's a lot of skin on display. (But if it's a look you like to wear, I fully support.) My point in saying all of this is that Gigi Hadid just provided an alternative—but equally cool—outfit idea for wearing low-rise pants or jeans.

Earlier this week, Hadid was out in New York to celebrate her collaboration with Frankies Bikinis, and she found a very creative way to wear one of the swimsuits from the collection. She paired a one-piece with low-rise pants, heels, and a shrug-style shirt. (Although, the outfit would look great with any jacket or blazer or without a third piece at all.)

The great thing about this outfit is that it still shows a bit of skin (at the hip bones), but it's a lot less scary than wearing a crop top, if you ask me. And it gives you an excuse to wear your favorite swimsuits for more than just a beach or pool day.

With that, see Hadid's outfit for yourself, and shop pieces from her Frankies Bikinis collection (all of which would look cool with low-rise pants).
