I Took My Tax Refund Straight to COS, Massimo Dutti, and The Row—Here's the Damage
I finally received my tax refund the other day, which, despite being smaller than I would have liked, has gone a long way in convincing me that I deserve a little bit of retail therapy. After all, I didn't work as hard as I did throughout 2024 to not gift myself with something nice at the end. At least, that's how I'm justifying the damage I just did at three of my favorite stores right now—COS, The Row, and Massimo Dutti.
This spring and summer, I'm really focusing my style and prioritizing high-quality basics and fun pieces that, without any effort, make outfits interesting and unique. Think red thong sandals, a plaid shirt, and a controversial pair of culottes. All three can be paired with easy drawstring pants, relaxed denim, and a breezy skirt and be complete. No outfit anxiety in sight. Fortunately, COS, The Row, and Massimo Dutti provided me with all of that and more during my latest online shopping session. My accountant might not be thrilled about my purchases, but I certainly am.
Scroll down to find out what to buy from COS, Massimo Dutti, and The Row this spring. Everything included is either still in my shopping cart for future reference or has already been swiped for. Trust me. They're all very good—too good, honestly.
I was spending far too much time thinking about these boots not to buy them. It's better for my productivity this way.
Style this with the big white tee you'll find below for a very The Row–esque look.
The women's version sold out, but I've always loved a men's button-down shirt more…
The next Margaux.
This is the white tee I was talking about. It's perfectly baggy and effortless.
When you're not styling it with dresses, pair it with these barrel-leg jeans for an even more low-key look.
The rubber flip-flops everyone's talking about right now are, indeed, still available in many sizes.
Dare I say that this dress is perfect for a summer beach wedding? I love a casual bridal look.
I have this bag in black (and the larger version in gray) and love it so much I had to get another color.
Now, these look like they cost $3750. They're so elegant and sophisticated.
This lightweight, water-repellent topper is perfect for spring showers.
Blush pink? Say less.
Shop the matching Linen-Blend Midi Column Skirt ($135).
No jewelry is required when your shoes look like this.
If you love linen or poplin drawstring pants, try this denim version next.
A beautiful, buttery bag to tote all your essentials around in this season.
Well, this '90s-inspired dress was too good to pass up—obviously.
Me? In a sporty jacket? Shocker.
This raffia tote will sell out by summer. Take my word for it or suffer the consequences.
I can so see Jennifer Lawrence wearing these. She probably already has.
