I'm Shopping for Summer With a $100 Budget—30 Beauty and Fashion Items in My Cart
As I'm shopping for summer, I decided to see what I could find for $100 and under. My mind started thinking through all of my warm-weather wardrobe staples, since some of my favorites start at just $10, like Gap’s Breathe underwear. Since I live in New York City, the air conditioner is blasting everywhere in the summertime, and it cools off at night, so I always like to keep a lightweight cardigan on me, such as J.Crew’s Jackie. I love natural fibers when it’s hot out as well, especially 100% cotton and silk pieces. For shoes, kitten heels are a go-to.
For beauty purchases under $100, I’ve been wanting to try Westman Atelier’s Hydrobalm Sheer Tinted Lipstick and Fara Homidi’s Smudge & Contour Lip Pencil. I’ll be restocking my Ouai shampoo, Rōz leave-in conditioner, and the Clinique lip oil I get compliments on every time I wear it. I swear by the Is Clinical Active Peel Treatment for exfoliating, which is a must during the summer heat, as is a gel moisturizer like Sofie Pavitt’s new oil-free one. I’m also looking for a new skin tint now that my go-to YSL one has been discontinued, and I was recommended Kylie Cosmetics as an alternative.
