Cream Jumpers Never Fail to Look Classy—7 Outfits I'll Wear Back-to-Back This Winter
A cream jumper is a wardrobe staple, and I bring mine out every year. Here are seven ways to wear it.
Chloe Gallacher
With the temperatures dropping daily, it's time to start dusting off those cold-weather staples in time for winter to truly begin. From classic blue jeans and maxi skirts to wool coats and knee-high boots, there are so many basics that make up my winter wardrobe. However, more than anything else, I find myself reaching for my favourite cream jumpers to help add a touch of elegance to my winter outfits
Timeless and incredibly versatile, a cream jumper has been the basis of many of my winter outfits for a number of years now. Not only does cream go with literally any colour or pattern you own, but opting for a knitted jumper will ensure you stay cosy and warm without compromising on style throughout the colder months.
However, as a basic I've now worn for many years, I was starting to find my cream jumper outfits boring. Feeling a little stuck for inspiration on new outfits I could recreate this season, I took to Instagram to see how my favourite fashion people chose to style their cream jumpers for winter 2025, and I was not disappointed.
This winter, fashion people are styling their cream jumpers with everything from mini skirts to classic wool coats and using sleek accessories to make their cream jumper outfits anything but boring.
From maxi skirts and buckle ballet flats to tailored trousers and animal-print boots the styling possibilities for this elegant staple are endless. So scroll to discover 7 fresh ways I'll be styling my cream knit this winter.
7 Elegant Cream Jumper Outfits I’ll Be Copying This Winter:
1. Silk Trousers + Wool Coat
Style Notes: There's no combination more luxurious than a jumper-and-silk-trouser pairing. Add a wool coat and leather gloves for warmth, and you have yourself a classy look that you can wear for any occassion.

2. Mini Skirt + Western Boots
Style Notes: Cable knits are such a classic style and instantly give a cosy feel to any outfit. Whether it's a v-neck jumper of cardigan done up, pairing it with a pleated mini skirt and western boot gives it a harder edge.

3. Tailored Trousers + Animal Print Boots
Style Notes: When in doubt, a tonal outfit can do you no wrong. Opt for a printed shoe like Danielle has to add interest to the entire look.
Shop the Look:
4. Maxi Skirt + Ballet Flats
Style Notes: Maxi skirts remain a staple in my wardrobe no matter the season, however, when winter comes around I opt for thicker materials such as wool to keep me warm.
Shop the Look:
5. Jeans + Chunky Boots
Style Notes: You can never go wrong with a classic jumper and jeans outfit and I love that Tegan has pair her cream knit with slit-hem jeans for a slightly more elevated look.
Shop the Look:
6. Maxi Coat + Pointed Boots
Style Notes: When the temperature really drops, you'll be grateful for a maxi coat to throw over your cream knit. Add some pointed knee-high boots to keep you warm without compromising on style and you're all set.
Shop the Look:
7. Leggings + Pointed Heels
Style Notes: Opting for a chunky, oversized knit allows you to style it with an array of bottoms. For comfort, pairing it with leggings can still look elevated rather than casual, simply add a pointed heel.
