6 Trending Colours COS Is Backing in a Big Way Right Now
When it comes to updating your look, one of the easiest ways to do so is with colour. Be it pulling something bright from the back of your wardrobe and giving it a fresh outfit airing or opting for an unexpected nail shade during your next manicure, a healthy dose of colour can reinvigorate your existing wares and leave you feeling more on-trend than you did before. Of course, you needn't spend to get this fix—as I say, even revisiting an old piece can give your looks added zing—but if you are in the market for new trending colours, I know just where you should head.

Right now, COS's new-in section is full of of-the-moment colour trends, the most noteworthy of which we saw on the A/W 22 runways earlier this year. As you will well know, COS usually sticks to a minimalist colour palette, favouring timeless shades of ecru, navy, forest and black. If that's what holds COS's appeal for you, fear not; the brand hasn't deserted its penchant for pared-back hues. However, sitting alongside them, COS has well and truly embraced brighter colours for autumn.
From the vibrant tone taking off on TikTok to the continuation of summer's green obsession, scroll on to see the six trending colours COS buyers have stocked up on for the season ahead.
1. Barbiecore Pink
A colour that needs no introduction—even COS can't resist the Barbie pink tone that's coming through as excitement swirling the movie builds.
Wear this on its own now, then with sheer black tights and chunky boots when the weather turns.
2. Classic Camel
A colour COS always delivers on, this shade of warm camel will integrate into just about any wardrobe.
A button-down you can pair with everything from pleated midi skirts to leather trousers.
3. Bright Ultraviolet
At the start of the year, Pantone predicted that periwinkle (a blue-purple) would be 2022's defining colour. It's clear COS paid attention, as now its new-in section is filled with this striking shade.
The elasticated panel on the back of this shirt creates the coolest silhouette from the front.
4. Kelly Green
Kelly green (a shade of vibrant green) has been firmly on the fashion map ever since Bottega Veneta introduced it in its collections. Now, however, COS is leading the green charge with its offering of separates, dresses and accessories.
5. Vanilla Buttercream
We told you COS was still championing its usual palette of elevated neutrals, the most prevalent of which at the moment is undoubtedly this light shade of creamy yellow.
6. Siren Red
In fashion circles, red is considered pretty timeless. Still, after a few seasons taking a back seat to the aforementioned pink tones, it's back. The more vibrant, the better.
