Her client list reads like a who's who of fashion: Margot Robbie, Selena Gomez, Natalie Portman, Sienna Miller, Dakota Johnson, Adwoa Aboah, and more. None other than Kate Young is the stylist mastermind behind these women's red carpet looks, so it's no wonder she was just dubbed the most powerful stylist by The Hollywood Reporter.

The magazine just released its annual list of the top 25 stylists, and Young topped the list for good reason. "THR's most influential stylist, who also topped this list in 2012 and 2016, boasted 1.3 billion media impressions in 2018 for her styling during Oscar week of Robbie alone, who was named the new ambassador for Chanel the day of the show," the magazine explained.

Rounding out the top three on the list were Elizabeth Saltzman, who styles Saoirse Ronan and Gwyneth Paltrow, as well as Elle Fanning's stylist Samantha McMillen. Scroll down to see Young's best red carpet moments.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
