Don't Be Swayed By Beauty Tool Gimmicks—These 11 Are Beauty Editor-Approved
With hundreds of deals to be had in the Amazon Prime Day sale, our beauty editor rounds up the beauty tools that are genuinely worth your money.
With the Amazon Prime Day sales in full swing, I've been rounding up the best Amazon Prime beauty deals. I'll admit, now is a great time to pick up a new skincare device or hair tool with a generous discount during the sales. However, Amazon offers an almost overwhelming amount of choice when it comes to beauty tools. However, they're not all created equal.
You see, you could endlessly scroll for hours on Amazon at the sheer amount of options available, and it can easily get pretty overhwhelming knowing what's actually going to be worthwhile in your beauty routine. As a beauty editor with over a decade of experience testing the best LED masks, microcurrent devices and hair multi-stylers, I spend my weeks putting beauty tech through its paces. More often than not, these beauty tools are a considerable investment. So when you're parting with your hard-earned money, you want to know that it's actually going to work. Which is why, for Amazon Prime Day 2026, I've compiled a curated list of the best beauty tools that deliver on their promises, and all come with a generous discount during the sales.
Whether you're in the market for a new hair curling wand, an IPL hair removal device, or just want to know what a beauty editor would shop in the sales, scroll on for the beauty tools deals I'd put in your basket.

Skin Tools
Firstly, have to recommend Shark's FacialPro Glow tool, especially during the heatwave we're having. This two-in-one facial tool includes a cooling cryotherapy massage tool (which also has a warming setting) that is absolutely heavenly for cooling and de-puffing your skin in this weather to help encourage lymphatic drainage. The other attachment is a gentle facial suction tool, which helps to clear skin congestion and blackheads from the skin (and yes, you can see exactly what comes out of it, which is oddly satisfying). The two tools in one make the Amazon Prime Day deal even better, and it also includes the skincare to go alongside the pore suction treatment.
The Beauty Pie LED mask remains one of the best LED masks I've tested, and it has a brilliant discount in the Amazon Prime Day beauty sales with £40 off right now. It uses both red and near-infrared light to help kickstart collagen production, helping to plump fine lines and wrinkles and improve uneven skin. When I commit to using this daily, I see a real difference in my skin. It's glowier, plumper and more radiant, and comes in at a fraction of the cost of other LED masks out there.
I'm often asked by friends and family if microcurrent devices such as the NuFace work. I answer that they do, but with one caveat. You have to be consistent with it to see and maintain the results. However, if you've had your eye on one for a while, then this is a great opportunity to invest with a generous saving over the Prime Day sales. Using electrical microcurrent, it helps to tone the muscles in your skin and is a great way to get a temporary lifting and sculpting effect before a special occasion.
I included the Shark LED mask in my round-up yesterday, and I'm including it here again as it's genuinely one of my favourite LED masks around. It features both red and blue LED treatments (which take less than 10 minutes), which are brilliant as they give you the option to address lines and wrinkles as well as treat acne. But best of all is the option to add the cooling undereye masks to your treatment, which are brilliant for depuffing the eye area and are my favourite way of stacking my treatments in one go.
Hair Tools
I've spent years trying to find the best curling wand to give me loose waves, and since trying this one, I'll never go back to another. The GHD Chronos Curve Max Wand has a larger barrel than most (they average at around 25mm, and this one comes in at 38mm), which gives a far softer, looser curl that leaves a gentle ripple through your lengths. Honestly, I've lost track of the number of compliments this hair tool has gotten me! It's an investment, but the Amazon Prime Day sale price makes it much more affordable.
If you've had your eyes on the Dyson Airwrap, then the Amazon Prime Day sales are a great time to snap one up. From creating bouncy blow-dries to sleek and straight styles, you can achieve endless styles with it. Yes, it takes a bit of getting used to (especially getting the curls to hold—see my guide on how to use the Dyson Airwrap), and it's an eye-wateringly expensive hair tool. But, I have to say that I love mine and wouldn't be without it.
If you're after a hair multi-styler that's a little more affordable, then I can't recommend the Shark Glam enough. This version includes the curling wands, hair dryer, round brush and hair smoother, but you also get the wet-to-dry straightening attachment, which is absolutely brilliant for straightening your hair and drying at the same time.
I really had to do a double-take at the sale price on this one—I thought it was a mistake at first! The Revlon One-Step Volumiser is one of the best affordable hair tools if you want a hot brush that delivers a bouncy blow-dry at home. The large brush takes a lot of hair, so it's a great tool for speedy styling. Everyone will be asking if you got your hair professionally blow-dried.
Body and Nail Tools
Over the past couple of years, I've taken more of an inside-out approach to my beauty routine, and after owning the Oura Ring for just over six months now, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. It tracks a whole range of biometrics, from your sleep to your menstrual cycle, through to your workouts and stress levels, and pairs with the app to give you helpful advice and insights into your overall health. It's helped me to prioritise my sleep and move more, as well as better understand my overall health. The gold ring is considerably more expensive, but I've never seen it so heavily discounted as right now, so it's a great time to invest if you're thinking of getting one.
I always recommend getting an IPL hair removal device during the Amazon Prime Day sales, as you can get some incredible discounts, such as this one, which has a huge £250 saving. They take a few weeks to work, but they really do work at reducing the hair growth on your face or body. The Philips Lumea 9900 Series IPL Hair Removal Device is a great one to go for.
The Manucurist Green Flash LED Gel Nail Kit is a great gel nail alternative that gives you a professional-looking manicure at home. It gives the same plump look as gel, but I find it's much kinder to my nails and is so easy to remove. Whilst it doesn't last quite as long as salon gel manicures, it's a great alternative.
