Hold On—Anna Wintour's Nephew Is the Best Dressed at Wimbledon

For tennis fans like myself, Wimbledon is the best time of year. Not only is the on-court action second to none, but the list of attendees reads like a who's who in fashion and Hollywood. Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle both watched matches last week, and today drew an equally impressive crowd. On the tournament's Manic Monday, where all of the round of 16 matches are played on the same day, Anna Wintour showed up in her beloved sandals, but it was her guest who caught our attention.

When I noticed the photo captions mentioned Luke Wintour, I was immediately intrigued. As it turns out, Luke is the Vogue editor in chief's nephew. He sat in Wimbledon's famed royal box with bleached hair, a sharp suit and tie, and Lennon-esque round sunglasses, looking every bit the fashion plate his aunt is. He also accompanied Wintour to Wimbledon in 2018 (sans bleached hair) and has joined her for a Burberry show, but he seems to keep a very low profile otherwise. Scroll down to see what Wintour and her nephew wore for a day of tennis at the All England Club.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
