By now, Kendall Jenner has cemented her status as one of fashion’s most influential models. She’s walked countless runways and earned the coveted Vogue September issue cover. But if you’re wondering what sparked her desire to pursue a modeling career, you may be surprised to learn that it's been a long time coming. Jenner opened up in an interview for Vogue's podcast: “I remember being 13 [or] 14 and making the funniest little book for my mom of photos of me that I took,” she said. “I was like, ‘I want to be a model and you need to help me.’”
Yes, like her sister Kim Kardashian West (who released an entire selfie book in 2015), it was posing for her own photos that jump-started Jenner’s obsession. Clearly, the art of posing runs in the family. Now whether she’s snapping the photos or just making moves in front of the lens, Jenner is clearly one to watch.
