For the past few weeks, I've been scrutinizing the fall runways (because March was a long time ago) and immersing myself in all the new styles, trends, and It items that are about to be everywhere once the leaves turn brown. While I love a trendy buy as much as the next person, I'm particularly focused on the more wearable styles that I can easily integrate into my wardrobe and will last me well beyond the current season.

Luckily, for fall/winter 2023, we're seeing a massive emphasis on elevated basics as well as fresh silhouettes and wearable color trends that are easy to style within your daily ensembles. Keep scrolling as I share seven wearable trends that will have you looking of-the-moment this season, are easy to wear, and, best of all, won't cost you a fortune. In fact, all my picks are under $100

Luxe Basics

The fall runways were brimming with ultra-wearable, plain-speaking basics with superior silhouettes and details. It's time to fill your wardrobe with luxe-looking staples that can be easily dressed up or down, from easy knits to cool hoodies and tailored blazers.

Crisp Button-Downs

In continuation with luxe basics, classic button-downs— a longtime staple among the fashion set—are taking the spotlight this fall. White button-downs are a must, as spotted all over the runways at Christian Dior and Bottega Veneta. We also saw button-downs in subtle hues like blue and beige and striped iterations.

Cinched Waists

The fall/winter 2023 collections confirmed that waist-cinching styles are officially on-trend. (I'm looking at you, Gigi Hadid in that black Versace skirt suit.) Opt for an hourglass silhouette in the form of a blazer, belted dress, or corset-style dress to lean into the look.

Fiery Red

The most popular color of the season—vibrant, fiery red—is also very easy to wear. The bold hue works well with practically every neutral hue and is gorgeous when paired with denim. Whether you go for a chic knit, a bold blazer, or an accessory, adding the color to your fall wardrobe will have you looking altogether on-trend.

If you haven't already heard, low-rise jeans are officially cool again. This season, it's all about wearing them in a slouchy, relaxed silhouette—a favorite among the fashion set. Dress them up with a fitted top and blazer or down with a chic knit sweater.

Chunky Earrings

If there is one jewelry piece to buy for fall 2023, it is the chunky earring. A favorite among the fashion set, large '80s silhouettes have been trending hard and make every outfit look more expensive.
