In case you’re new to this, today I’ll be rounding up my favorite items of the moment but with more of a personal spin than your usual shopping story. These special selects are the pieces I’ve been loving not only online, but IRL too. With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I share my own snaps of items I’m into at the moment, I get to both show and tell you what I’m really wearing this month. Common themes to expect? Bags, dresses, jeans, accessories, and shoes—just some of the things I hoard—and, of course, a mix of high-end investment pieces and budget-friendly steals I think you’ll love. Simply to continue on to see and shop my picks!
Petite girls: This minidress is one of few that, at 5’2”, I didn’t have to shorten and had a perfect fit as-is. Also, this Hayward bag is one of my new favorites, as an update on its original mini shopper with the added chain.
These jeans have an ultra-high, 12.5-inch rise that makes them perfect for pairing with cropped tops or tucking shirts into.
Another thing I was surprised fit me without tailoring is this Zara jumpsuit. Aside from the fit, it’s also really comfortable and has cool contrast stitch detailing. Here, I’m wearing it with one of my new favorite pairs of eel-textured Western boots.
Before fall weather sprung out of nowhere, I had a good run wearing these PVC and ribbon sandals with everything.
I’ve had these Attico jeans for years and love them so much. I think I were them at least twice a week, and they’re especially good for dressing up since they have no distressing. Net-a-Porter recently brought them back, and I would say they’re definitely worth the investment.
On the left is Kat Collings’s bag from new brand Gu_de. Not surprisingly, it’s sold out, but the brand has a bunch more like it. My bag on the right is a fun, glittery style from Maryam Nassir Zadeh. Because it’s clear and metallic, it literally goes with everything.
I’ve been wearing these boots for years, and they’re still one of my favorite, simple pairs. These leopard pants from Reformation have been surprisingly versatile too, and I’ve already gotten so much use out of them because they go with everything.
Roxanne Assoulin has finally started incorporating custom letter bracelets into her blogger-beloved line of fun jewelry, and they’re as good as one would imagine.
The color of this Phillip Lim skirt is even more striking in person than it is in photos. I paired it with one of my new favorite bags and belt bags, this nylon one by Prada.
I wore this Haney Dress to a non-black-tie wedding recently, and it was not only a fun departure from black dresses, but it was also extremely comfortable to wear all night and dance in.
