Trust Me—Buy These 22 Things

Trust Me—Buy This is a monthly series where our market editor, Nicole Eshaghpour, makes her favorite, real-life fashion finds shoppable for Who What Wear readers.

In case you’re new to this, today I’ll be rounding up my favorite items of the moment but with more of a personal spin than your usual shopping story. These special selects are the pieces I’ve been loving not only online, but IRL too. With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I share my own snaps of items I’m into at the moment, I get to both show and tell you what I’m really wearing this month. Common themes to expect? Outerwear, sweaters, boots, and jewelry—just some of the things I hoard—and, of course, a mix of high-end investment pieces and budget-friendly steals I think you’ll love. Simply to continue on to see and shop my picks.

I hate to use the word uniform, but if I were to have one, this would be the closest thing to it. The sweatshirt is the ideal cropped length for me (at 5’2”); the leather pants just make any outfit look like you tried, the bag fits in perfectly with my wardrobe of black, white, and denim; and the shoes are so comfortable but still cool.

I can’t believe it myself, but these statement heels are not just pretty—they’re so comfortable!

The latest ring in my rotation is this stackable gold chain style from Mejuri. I love how it’s actually soft like a real chain, as opposed to a stiff imposter.

These boots are so comfortable. Like, sneaker comfortable. Yes, they also happen to be extremely polished and versatile too, but I think that even if they weren’t, I’d still wear them all the time.

I’m kind of on a blazer kick right now, and one that I’ve been wearing a lot is this comfortable, looser style from Baldwin. It’s also worth mentioning that I’m wearing it over one of my new favorite under-$100 tees by Re/Done—and I think this bag speaks for itself.

Remember what I said about blazers? This double-breasted one from L’Agence is perfect if you need something to add structure to your look. Also, if you remember these jeans from the last Trust Me—Buy This story, yes, I’m still wearing them regularly.

All I have to say is that this $75 cashmere sweater looks and feels triple its price (or more).

I didn’t feel like past photos of these boots did them justice, so I felt the need to share again. They’re just so cool!

If, like me, you rarely wear colors, this men’s hoodie from Gap is the best way to add a pop of color to your wardrobe without investing a ton. Highly recommended!

I’ve been obsessed with this brand lately, and once I got this necklace, I realized my feelings were totally valid. It’s just so cool, and I’ve been wearing it on repeat.

If you want a pair of non-basic ankle boots that will get you compliment after compliment, go for these.

Even though I’m a little sad summer is over, I’m happy puffer weather is back because I’ve collected some good ones. On the right is me in my favorite leather one from Veda, and on the right is fellow editor Lauren in an Aritzia super-puff that we both have.

Another thing I’ve been wearing a lot is leather pants. This newer pair from Paige is denim, so I’ve been styling them the same way I would a pair or jeans—i.e., with a white tee, a black purse, and black ankle boots.
