Trust Me: Buy These 19 Things
It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for our weekly installment of new arrivals, however, today we’re doing something a little different. Did you catch my Trust Me, Buy This post last time? If so, you're ready to start shopping. If not, read on.
While I’ll still be sharing some of my favorite fashion pieces as of late, this time, we’re giving it more of a personal spin, with the items I’ve not just been loving on the web but IRL too. With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I share my own snaps of items I’m into at the moment, I'm making this week’s post a little more personal. Some common themes to expect? Shoes, jeans, accessories—just some of the things I hoard— and of course a mix of high-end investment pieces as well as budget-friendly steals I think you’ll love.
This is actually a photo I originally snapped for a co-workers story on selfie tips, but I'm glad I did because it gave me an excuse to show off my new sunglasses and affordable hoops.

Both I (lower) and my friend (upper) couldn't help but snag Gucci's latest block heel mules on a recent trip to Paris. I love the heel height because it's perfect for wearing all day or at night.
Shop the shoes:
Anything that makes my denim look better is always a yes for me. This belt is easy to add to any outfit and just gives it a little something extra. It looks especially good with all-black, which I learned days after already snapping this pic.
Shop the belt:
I think these showstopping Tamara Mellon boots speak for themselves, but I will say that I found they run a half size big, so if you're ordering that's something to keep in mind. Also, since this photo does little to help in terms of styling ideas, I've found that my favorite way to wear them is with jeans, a sweater or turtleneck, and a blazer.
Shop the boots:
This outfit is from New York Fashion Week and is still one of my favorites. The cutout Proenza Schouler sweater just makes everything look cooler, and I never thought I'd find a pair of burgundy jeans that were so flattering.

Sadly, this Monse camo stunner is sold out, but we can still appreciate how perfectly it's contrasted by the (still available) Staud Bisset I stole from my co-worker Lauren for the day.
Shop the bag:
I've been afraid to pull the trigger on white boots for some time now, and I finally found the perfect affordable pair that I don't feel guilty about likely ruining in the near future. Here, they're styled with my go-to Levi's wedgie jeans (can you tell I cut the hem myself?) and my newest hoodie, which I'm obsessed with thanks to the exaggerated metallic sleeves.

I had to sneak this shot in from my personal account to not only share this Tibi sweater that is truly the perfect shade of of-the-moment lavander, but also my co-worker, Lauren's shiny Isa Arfen coat from fashion week. How good?!

I deemed this shot of my husband Alex and I post-worthy because while I tend to stay away from men's fashion (it's highly confusing), I'd still like to endorse his choice in footwear because I have the same sneakers! If you're looking for a new comfortable shoe for the weekend, between these Nike Air Maxx 97s and Common Projects, you can't really go wrong.

As a self-proclaimed jean lover (and hoarder), nothing excites me more than a new trend in the denim world. Case in point, these DIY-inspired Mother jeans with a double waistband and frayed pocket.
Shop the jeans:
Last but certainly not least, one of my favorite spring trends has to be the Western boot. This pair from Dior is only sold in stores, but if you're a strict online-only kind of girl, there are tons of other styles out now. I love the below in black and white, as well as these and these.

Available in sizes 35 to 42.That's all for this week! Be sure to check in next Wednesday for our regularly programmed new arrivals roundup.
Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2024, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
