The 3 Biggest Color Trends We'll All Be Wearing This Summer
Bright and saturated colors have fully reached their peak. The runways let us know several months ahead, and I've spent the time since gearing up for the moment it felt warm enough to fully commit to those funky color combinations. Among all of the rainbow-colored noise, there are three colors that are guaranteed to have a moment this summer.
If you walk into nearly any fashionable store or open up your Instagram feed, I guarantee that you'll catch a glimpse of the colors pink, green, and orange. They've never been bigger, and you can't go wrong by planning outfits around them this season. If you're new to experimenting with color, try starting out by pairing these bold shades with neutrals. However, if you're ready to take your look to the next level, mixing and matching them is the move. See my favorite pieces in these pretty hues below.
The Y2K effect is in full swing, and every fashion person is going to be wearing this nostalgic shade of bubblegum pink this summer. I've been testing it out, and I assure you that you'll feel more confident than ever the moment you slip it on.

It's no secret that all of my co-workers, myself included, have a thing for orange right now. While it seems like a difficult color to pull off, I've seen it really flatter every skin tone. Designers have put a pause on lighter shades and are really leaning into bright and burnt oranges.
Orange you glad you scrolled this far?

I tried this one with an orange bikini the other day, and it was a look.
I tested these, and they're so comfortable.
After seeing the brightest shades of green everywhere for a year or two, I'm happy to see that we're cooling down and trying out subtler hues. I've had so much fun pairing multiple shades of green together, as it feels like the easiest way to guarantee a successful outfit.

Sierra Mayhew was always destined to work in fashion, but she didn't know it at first. Growing up with no choice but to wear a rotation of school uniforms and activewear, her love for fashion really blossomed when she moved away for college and was able to finally define her very own personal style. Shortly thereafter, she interned at Elle magazine and instantly knew that editorial was for her. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, she worked for ShopBazaar, contributing regularly to Bazaar.com, and finally made her way to Who What Wear, where she is an associate editor. When she’s not working, you can catch her always trying to catch a flight, trying the latest fitness craze in New York City, or exploring luxury vintage boutiques.
