This Summer Trend Is Selling Wildly at Topshop
We love to keep two steps ahead of all the latest trends here at Who What Wear, and not just the runway trends that we adamantly cover every time fashion month rolls around. We’re talking everything from the most popular items on Instagram that dominate our feeds from season to season as well as micro-trends (leather Bermuda shorts, anyone?) that provide refreshing outfit ideas you may not have known about.
But, unquestionably, we’re also interested in knowing what trends are selling the most at our favorite retailers. Today, we’re honing in on affordable cool-girl brand Topshop. What's selling out like hotcakes at the British retailer? Floral dresses are winning right now, and it's not surprising to hear. They’re all over our Insta feed for the warm-weather season and are the go-to choice for fashion girls looking for an easy and chic outfit for casual summer weekends, fancy summer soirées and everything in between.
Topshop Global Design Director Anthony Cuthbertson explains, "Dresses are a key focus for us as a business, and we’ve been creating new pieces in a variety of different prints, fabrics, and styles. Floral dresses, in particular, have been selling out fast. In fact, they’re so popular that they are searched for over 200 times a day online.”
The Austin Floral Daisy Print Angel Sleeve Midi Dress is the number one best seller in the U.S., and it's easy to see why. Its feminine floral print, detailed open back, floaty sleeves, and midi length are so easy to dress up or down. But Topshop's global best seller goes to the Palermo Rose Mini Square Neck Dress (which just launched last Tuesday!) and has already sold out.
