The Only Shoe Trend I Care About Right Now
Every once in a while, a shoe trend comes around that really sticks. You know what I'm talking about? Suddenly, it's the only thing you want to wear or buy. For me, over the past few years, it’s happened with chunky sneakers, mules, PVC sandals, and, most recently, the topic of today’s post: kitten-heel strappy sandals. I simply can’t get enough of them, and seemingly, neither can anyone else on the internet.
As if my own obsession weren’t bad enough, I feel like every time I scroll through Instagram, I come across a new style I'm compelled to add to my collection. While there certainly are the more famous pairs of the season (such as Staud’s and By Far’s iterations), there are countless other options to choose from in a range of colors, silhouettes, and price points, so there’s really no excuse not to get on board. To see and shop some pairs I’m loving right now, and get some styling inspo along the way, just keep scrolling.
Reformation's first shoe collection did not disappoint in the slightest.
I think I just found a rival to Zara's viral white heels.
A statement shoe you won't have a hard time matching with your outfits.
I find that silver is one of the most versatile and useful shoe colors.
Another pair from my personal collection (though mine are white)!

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
